UA Tax was founded with a simple insight: people deserve expert tax advice without the big-firm overhead.
Usman spent over a decade at leading accountancy firms — BDO, leading UK accountancy firms — advising individuals, landlords, and business owners. He saw talented advisers giving great advice, but clients paying inflated fees for generic service. He recognised a gap.
In 2024, he founded UA Tax to deliver something different: specialist tax expertise, personal service, and transparent pricing. No generic compliance factory. Just clear, senior-led advice from advisers who understand your tax position and explain the options properly.

Usman is a Chartered Certified Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with over a decade of specialist experience in UK tax matters. He has trained and worked at some of the UK's leading accountancy firms, including BDO, the fifth-largest accountancy practice in the country.
After more than a decade advising individuals, landlords, start-ups, businesses and fellow accountants, Usman established UA Tax with one mission: deliver expert, independent advice with personal service — without the big-firm price tag.
His specialism spans property tax, corporate restructuring, HMRC enquiries and strategic tax planning. Usman has advised on complex multi-property portfolios, business sales with millions in BADR savings, intricate corporate reorganizations, and successful HMRC enquiry defences.
Beyond technical expertise, Usman is known for clear communication. Complex tax matters are explained plainly, so clients understand their position and options. He believes tax advice shouldn't be jargon-filled — it should be practical and actionable.
When not working on tax matters, Usman can be found reading tax case law (genuinely) and exploring London's evolving business landscape.

Ahmad is a Chartered Certified Accountant trained at KPMG, a leading professional services firm, where he gained over 15 years of hands-on experience across large-scale accountancy practices internationally.
Ahmad specialises in working with businesses of all sizes, with a particular focus on owner-managed enterprises and ambitious entrepreneurs. He brings both rigorous technical expertise and a pragmatic, commercially-aware approach to problem-solving — ensuring tax and accounting strategies align with business goals.
His approach is collaborative. Rather than imposing solutions, Ahmad works closely with clients to understand their business objectives, then designs accounting and tax strategies that support those goals. Whether scaling a business, preparing for investment, or planning an exit, Ahmad brings strategic thinking alongside technical excellence.
Ahmad has overseen accounting functions for diverse industries — technology, property, professional services, retail — and understands the specific challenges each sector faces. His leading firm background ensures compliance rigor, while his entrepreneurial clients keep him grounded in commercial reality.
